Within all the group’s subsidiaries, Compagnie Fruitière ensures that the laws in force in each country where its subsidiaries operate are applied and its corporate social responsibility policy is based on compliance with international standards of conduct, the guidelines of the ISO 26000 corporate social responsibility standard and the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact. In particular, the group applies strict compliance with the fundamental ILO conventions. These concern in particular the prohibition of child labour, forced labour, the prevention of all forms of discrimination, and finally respect for the right to organise and collective bargaining.
Compagnie Fruitière is also very active in the area of risk prevention and the promotion of health and safety at work. The initiatives consist, in particular, of equipping personnel at risk with personal protective equipment (PPE). Compagnie Fruitière also aims to extend its corporate social responsibility practices to its partners and subcontractors, particularly in the logistics field.
Compagnie Fruitière places women and men at the heart of its success strategy. As a result, it is setting up training and skills development programmes and ensuring that its employees’ stability is encouraged.
