Of all of our activities, transport and logistics are the biggest sources of greenhouse gas emissions. This is why our transport subsidiaries are committed to a policy of reducing their carbon footprint. On our ships, this strategy is reflected in the ongoing optimisation of rotations and load factors. In the ports, our efforts have focused in particular on the gradual replacement of our container fleet with more energy-efficient units and the conversion of our handling equipment to all-electric. As part of these activities, Compagnie Fruitière pays particular attention to the working conditions at its various sites and in particular to the safety of its employees by organising sessions to prevent risks and hardship in the workplace.
